A guide to some of the nearby beach clubs

At the last count, there were a dozen beach clubs in and around Kalkan, all of which offer stylish ways to enjoy the sun and the sea. Each has its own atmosphere and differing facilities. Which becomes your favourite will be down to personal taste but to help you decide, we've listed some of our favourites.
Yali Beach Club

Open 7 days a week, the Yali Beach Club is over on the right hand side of the bay as you look out to sea. It's open all day serving breakfast lunch and dinner and can be reached by walking approx 10 minutes from the Pirat hotel on the left hand side. It's probably more suited for couples rather than families. It also hosts regular evening events such as jazz nights.
Indigo Beach Club

Next up is the Indigo Beach Club which is easily the most accessible being located along the harbour wall. The ground level offers a nice bar restaurant and shaded terrace space. On the lower level, there are sunbeds and parasols and ladders lead down to the sea. All kinds of watersports are available at this beach club. As well as offering fun times during the day, it also offers evening movies showings. Indigi is easy to get to, just carry on past the Pirat Hotel near where the boats are moored in the harbour.
Palm Beach Club

This club is located on the eastern side of the bay or left-hand side as you look out to sea. Just across from the harbour, this is a contemporary, family friendly club with a restaurant and bar facilities and plenty of games to keep the kids active.. Free water taxis operate from the harbour during the day or you can get there by walking via Kormuluk. . They will open a tab for you when you arrive and the sunbed charge will be put onto the tab. There are platforms for sunbathing, cushioned sunloungers, table tennis, shower facilities and they offer a range of watersports.
Villa Mahal

To the left of Kalkan bay, further up the coast towards Kisla is Villa Mahal Beach Club which offers a somewhat more quiet and sophisticated club atmosphere. Sunbathing platforms lined with olive trees offer space to relax and soak up the sun, and ladders from the terraces go straight into the sea. There is a water taxi from the harbour which takes you across to Mahal. This offers one of the most enviable spots especially later in the day.
Kalkan Beach Park

The Kalkan Beach Park has been overhauled recently and is a very popular option which offers a free water taxi services from the harbour and free sunbeds. There is a small beach area where you can walk into the shallow waters and a water slide to keep the children entertained. Water-sports are also available in peak summertime. A restaurant serves home-made chips and pizza and plenty of chilled drinks.
Zest Beach Club

Zest Beach Club only opened in 2019. Located in Komurluk, it can be reached by a free water shuttle service from the harbour.
This family-friendly beach club provides direct access to the sea from various platforms as well as use of the large salt water swimming pool. There are various terraces furnished with sun loungers. There are different restaurants and has a saltwater pool. You can get there via free water taxi from the harbour or walk via Kormuluk.
